Dear Bride,

We are delighted to be doing the flowers for your wedding. Payment of your retainer and the execution of this contract will put you on our calendar. Your retainer is non-refundable. Please sign this contract and make payment within 10 business days to ensure your place on our calendar. The current contract total is $x,xxx, as the creative details evolve, so will the contract total.

Part of what makes this relationship successful is you! Please read this contract and proposal carefully including dates, times, venues and colors, we want every detail to be perfect, and no one knows what you want better than you do!

CANCELLATIONS:

Client understands this is a custom order. Contract cancellation must be made in writing or by email. Contract cancellations made before final payment due 30 days prior to the wedding date will receive a refund of monies paid, less the non-refundable retainer. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event date will receive no refund.

RESCHEDULING:

Rescheduling is cancelling. If you are rescheduling less than 30 days prior to your wedding, there will be no refund.

If you decide to reschedule your wedding more than 30 days prior to your date, we are happy to do so if the date is available.

If the date is available, there will be a rescheduling fee of $1000 or 30% of your contract and your wedding flowers will be priced to current market value.

If the date is not available, we will refund all payments but your non refundable retainer.

In the case of an impending hurricane, pandemic or similar event, Fat Cat Flowers will work with you and your venues to determine if the wedding can go forward as planned. If the wedding is rescheduled to a date more than seven days from the original date, a floral replacement fee of 30% will be charged.

CHANGES AND REDUCTIONS:

We understand that wedding planning is a process and that decisions made early in the process may be revised as guest count and the floorplan evolve. We allow changes to your floral design up to 30 days prior to the wedding, all decisions are final at that time. Reductions to the scope of the contract are limited to 10% of the floral and decor budget before fees and taxes, and not less than our agreed upon minimum. No changes will be made within 30 days of the event. All changes must be made in writing and are subject to approval.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

Flowers, as all things in nature, have seasons and production and shipping cycles that may affect your event. We order only premium flowers from reliable growers and try to provide the freshest product possible. Occasionally weather or shipping problems can occur, if we must substitute, we promise to do it with your vision and best wishes in mind. We work hard to capture your vision in flowers, please review your worksheet details closely to be sure we have addressed all of your needs. We reserve the right to make substitutions in the event the flowers received are not of the quality suitable for your wedding.

RENTALS:

If your wedding includes breakdown at the end of the evening, all flowers not collected by the client will be discarded, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We love for guests to take home flowers, but will bill you for our pretty containers that are designated as rentals.  A fee will incur for broken/unreturned vases or rental items at the cost of the rental items.

EXCLUSIVITY:

We are your florist! It is understood that Fat Cat Flowers will act as the sole and exclusive Florist for your Wedding. By signing this contract, the client agrees that no other person or company, professional or otherwise, shall provide fresh or artificial floral products for the ceremony or wedding reception.

We recommend wedding insurance to all our brides, but especially to those during hurricane season.  

Any images included in your contract are for inspiration only. 

We will use your images on social media unless you ask us not to.
