FAT CAT WEDDING: Maggie & Ben

We may be biased, but New Orleans is undoubtedly the best place to have a wedding. Between iconic traditions, the historic architecture, the mouth-watering cuisine, and let’s not forget the fabulous wedding vendors- who could deny this is one of, if not THE, best place to get married?

Maggie and Ben’s personality as a couple encompasses the true nature of the “Big Easy.” Calm, happy, and most importantly, fun. Their wedding upheld all of these wonderful aspects of a New Orleans wedding with even more special touches.

The Ceremony:

Maggie and Ben’s happily ever after began at one of the most notable and historic buildings in New Orleans: St Louis Cathedral. Sitting in the heart of the French Quarter, this 228 year old church is one building the majority of tourists and locals run to see. Maggie and Ben created their own history at this church by saying “i do” and beginning the next chapter of their lives. Maggie’s bridal bouquet which consisted of full white and blush long-stem roses was the perfect accent to the timeless beauty of Maggie herself as well as the church.

The Reception:

New Orleans is known for many things, but one thing often overlooked is the Mighty Mississippi. The French Quarter is one of the best places to see this beauty, and Maggie and Ben were sure to show their guests this beautiful sight by booking their reception at Marché. Located in one of America’s oldest public markets, Marché is another historic building that shows off the culture of New Orleans. Their reception was filled with those same delicate blush and white flowers with luscious greenery strung throughout. As they danced throughout the night they had the best view of that gorgeous Mississippi River. Although, we can’t imagine it looked better than Maggie and Ben on this night.

The Second Line:

The party isn’t over until the big brass plays. And by that we mean the famous New Orleans second line. Maggie and Ben ended their night dancing and leading their friends and family down the famous streets in celebration of their love and new beginning as a married couple. We aren’t sure if anything better sums up Maggie and Ben as a couple or the entire evening for that matter, other than “Laissez les bon temps rouler,” or “let the good times roll.”
